UNLOCKING THE POTENTIAL OF SCENT DETECTION
Stratuscent’s breakthrough portable, real‐time, and low‐cost electronic nose leverages chemical sensing and artificial intelligence (AI) to detect, digitize, and catalog simple and complex everyday scents enhancing environmental intelligence, process quality control, yield, and safety.
SHAPING THE FUTURE OF COOKING
Today, our homes are becoming increasingly connected and smarter – whether it is smart locks, lighting, appliances, or home security. Having the pulse of our home accessible through our smartphones gives us comfort and a sense of security.
At the heart of this connectivity are an increasing number of Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices that connect to our Wi-Fi networks to provide the eyes, ears, touch, hands, and legs to our devices. There is one more human sense that has yet to be integrated into our connected devices – the sense of smell.
DECODING THE AIR WE BREATHE
With over 140 million homeowners in the US & Canada, remote monitoring of properties for unhealthy smells, flammable gases, unpleasant scents, and other malodors is becoming crucial for owners of primary, vacation, and rental properties.
In these cases, harnessing the sense of smell can remotely provide a “scent picture” of the property. Detecting target scents or odors can indicate cleanliness issues, the presence or use of illegal substances, and even ongoing activities in violation of the property rules (such as large parties).
THE SCENT OF FOOD FRESHNESS
The distribution of avoidable food loss and waste (FLW) accounts for a whopping 21% or 2.4 million tons of food worth more than $10 billion being lost at the consumer level alone. This waste can be easily reduced using the digital sense of smell.
